    The tablets are available in five different colours and flavour combinations to accommodate everyone's taste preferences. They all create an invigorating refreshing sensation for at home teeth washing, or as a mouth rinse during dental treatment.


    MGS Mouthwash tablets can be used after all dental procedures to facilitate the cleaning of teeth and gums. The optimised tablet formula is especially recommended for:

  • 1. A mildly mouth gargle and mouth rinse during and after dental treatment
  • 2. The removal of debris and saliva from the oral cavity by the mouthwash's ability to reduce the surface tension, making it easier for the patient to be able to rinse thoroughly
  • 3. Removal of blood and tooth debris from the operative site
  • 4. Mouth refresher, giving the patient a sense of wellbeing
  • 5. MGS Mouthwash is non acidic, making it non-irritant when used to irrigate open wounds caused as a result of dental treatment.

    Calculated as dry tablet % w/w:

    Sodium Benzoate ~ 5.23; Menthol - 0.14; Thymol ~ 0.13; EEC approved colouring and flavouring ~ trace; Effervescent base q.s.p. ~ 100.


    Typically 1000 tablets per bottle or tub in following colour and flavour combinations: Original Pink/Thymol, Green/Mint, Blue/ Spearmint, Orange/Citrus Orange, Yellow/Vanilla, Lime/Lemon Flavour.


    Drop two tablets into a tumbler full of clean tap water (approximately 200ml). Allow the effervescent tablets to fully dissolve, which should take no longer than 3 minutes if at room temperature. Then ask the patient to take a mouthful and rinse the solution around the teeth and gums for up to 30 seconds and spit out. Repeat as required.

    Mouthwash tablets
